Systems Change Game

Our novel, lively workshop gets players up and about the room to explore, identify and discuss the connections between climate justice, the climate crisis, and numerous modern systems – such as housing, healthcare, education, urban planning. Our ‘Systems Change Game’ asks ‘what are the the systems shaping our daily lives?’ and ‘how, where, and why do they overlap?’.

Our aim is that by the end, players feel more confident with using systems thinking to think of climate justice and the climate crisis, and to break it down into local and tangible examples. The game gives space for group discussion, imagination, and critical thinking, and we conclude the workshop to send players off with positive ambitions.

The workshop highlights, with real examples, that no matter your professional specialism, priorities, or personal passions, there is is always scope to challenge climate injustice and climate change. We find that by framing common societal challenges through the climate justice lens, it sparks a revived sense of agency and a new kind of motivation among players.
